La Rotisserie in Newton

I loved this place, especially the corned beef and ribs, but they are no longer in this location! Have they closed or moved? There’s no information on the door.

Bad ingredients poorly cooked.

The meat is cooked very well and they have alot of options and the sides are good too

I ate at La Rotisserie today for the first time. I had some of their chicken soup and a pastrami sandwich. The soup was out of this world. It was traditional soup, but it had a creamy taste combined with an excellent blend of herbs. Probably the best I've had! The pastrami was good, but the bread really made it! I definitely recommend this place!

In need of a delicious inexpensive dinner and think Boston Market is good...well then you need to come here. This place is small, only a few 2 top tables. It's mostly all take out, no table service. But you can get ribs, chicken, brisket, pork, depends on the daily special. I usually get a 1/2 chicken, the meat is tender and juicy and the sides are great as is the corn bread (I wish it was included but it's worth the $1). The service is always good and lines can get bad around dinner time so come early.

If you are thinking about buying one of the rotisserie chickens at the supermarket, do yourself a favor and stop over at La Rotisserie instead. For a couple dollars more, you can get a large chicken, perfectly cooked with juicy flavor, nicely cooked skin, and enough food for a few people. The sides here are great, and you can get a nice dinner plate with a meat of your choice and two sides. The cornbread, which doesn't come with the meals unfortunately is also very good and worth adding to your meal. The location of the restaurant is very easy to get to, and they neighbor a great alcohol and dessert place if you need any additions to your meal.

Food came a little cold

I'd give it a three and a half, we got two take out orders (roast of the day which was roast beef with ribs) for around $31.00. The food was above average. Sides, get the mashed potatoes and the stuffing. Guys who worked there were friendly. The place is pricey for what you get, however. It's a bit more worth it to get like two take outs(that's experience from getting the two roast of the day with ribs) to share with a couple people, as they give fairly large portions of food.

Wonderful food and service but they are closing June 23 2018 after 40 years of business.

The food was so good

Just had my first meal from this establishment (take out). How can one place get so many things wrong? The turkey was so dry even the gravey didn't help. The stuffing was totally lacking any flavor. A friend who was not a part of the ordering thought the so called mac and cheese was just an order of elbow macaroni, can't have mac an cheese without using some cheese !!The rice pudding?.... well in contrast to the dry turkey it was easier to drink the rice pudding it was so loose.The absolute worst.

Ate here for the first and LAST time today. I ordered the chicken wing plate with mashed Potatoes and mac & cheese on the side. The boxed mash potatoes were watery and flavorless. The mac and cheese barely had cheese and the chicken wings were dry, cover-cooked and lacked seasoning. It literally tasted has if they took the chicken wings out of the freezer and threw them in the oven. Complete waste of $11. I have never written a review on a restaurant before but the food was so terrible, I felt the need to. I wouldn't even give this food to a stray dog. >:(

Tasty meats, fresh sides, and a very clean establishment. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner when I went it to eat and he nice, humble, and passionate about the food he serves. He's been doing it for 14 years and as you can expect he is a pro. The St Louis ribs are delicious, the roast beef is cooked perfectly and the cole slaw is well balanced. I also had the beet salad and it was perfect. I like how the place is unique and like none other around. It's great for grabbing lunch with a friend.

YUM. The only thing that would make this place better would be if they would carry my FAVORITE pasta salad all year instead of seasonally. This is more of a takeout place, not really a great sit down place, though they have some seats.

Mashed potatoes and ribs were definitely good you should get them. Don't go too crazy with the chicken. Food a little bit pricey for what you get. Good customer service.

I was very disappointed with my experience at La Rotisserie. I had the specialty dish and it was under cooked and lacked flavor. I even tried to get another meat dish and it was so bad I had to throw it out. I should have asked for my money back. Never going back there again.

Ok food. Nice staff. Shane there's no bathroom there so it's more of a pickup place rather than eat in.
